Maximizing Battery Life
You can do several things to extend the life of the batteries.
- Use premium lithium batteries.
- Use expedition mode (Power Menu).
- Turn off additional satellite systems (System Settings).
- Reduce the backlight timeout (Device Settings).
- Turn off the beeper (System Settings).
- Turn off the compass when not in use (Device Settings).
