Transferring Files to Your Device

Connect the device to your computer.
Depending on your computer operating system, the device appears as either a portable device, a removable drive, or a removable volume.
NOTE: Mac® operating systems do not detect the device by default. You must use Garmin Express™ software to interact with files on your device. - On your computer, open the file browser.
- Select a file.
- Select Edit > Copy.
- Open the portable device, drive, or volume for the device.

Browse to a folder.
NOTE: Most file types have a named folder within the Garmin® folder.

Select
Edit > Paste.
The file appears in the list of files in the device memory.
