Pairing Your Phone and Activating the Alpha LTE Dog Collar Device

NOTICE

To use certain features of the Alpha® LTE dog collar device, an active LTE Subscription is required and the dog collar device must be within an LTE network coverage area (Connected Features). The LTE Subscription can be set up using the Garmin Alpha™ app (Garmin Alpha App). Purchase of an LTE Subscription does not guarantee that LTE coverage will be available where the device is used.

  1. Turn on the Alpha LTE dog collar device.
  2. Bring your compatible phone within 10 m (33 ft.) of the device.
  3. From the app store on your phone, download and open the Garmin Alpha app.
  4. On the Alpha LTE dog collar device, press the power button until the status LED turns blue.

    The device enters pairing mode.

  5. Follow the on-screen instructions in the app to complete the pairing process.
  6. Follow the on-screen instructions in the app to activate LTE service.

After the phone and device are paired, they connect automatically when they are turned on and within Bluetooth® range.
