This is a quick way to adjust how the autopilot system responds without having to change configuration or tuning settings. It is recommended to adjust the response before making any other gain settings. For installations on a sailboat using a mechanical drive unit or a SmartDrive™ actuator, you should adjust this setting to Auto Medium, and that should provide the best response for most sea conditions.
