Starting a Garmin Epic

A Garmin Epic is a collection of activities, locations, and biometrics data that you can view like a travel journal.

1. Select an option:
   • Hold .
   • From the watch face, press .
   • From the watch face, press .

   NOTE: You may need to add Epic to the controls menu (Customizing the Controls Menu), app list (Customizing the App List), or glances list (Customizing the Glances List).

2. Select Epic.
3. Press .
4. Select an option:
   • To start recording without navigation, select Start Epic.
   • To start recording with course navigation, select Add Course, select a course, and select Do Course.

Viewing and Editing a Garmin Epic

1. Select an option:
   • Hold .
   • From the watch face, press .
   • From the watch face, press .

   NOTE: You may need to add Epic to the controls menu (Customizing the Controls Menu), app list (Customizing the App List), or glances list (Customizing the Glances List).

2. Select Epic.

The current or most recently saved Epic appears.

3. Select an option:
   • Press to view your history.
   • Press , and select Rename Epic to edit the name.
   • Press , and select Add Course or New Course to follow a course.
   • Press , and select All Stats to view your activities and statistics.
   • Press , and select End Epic to save and end the Garmin Epic.
