Measuring the Height of a Feature

You can use the altimeter to measure the height of a feature, such as a hill or waterfall.

1. Select an option:
   • Hold .
   • From the watch face, press .
2. Select an option:
   • Select Measure Height.
   • Select Field Tools > Measure Height.
3. Select > Calibrate, and select a calibration option (optional) (Calibrating the Barometric Altimeter).
4. Select .
5. Start moving to the top of the feature.

The elevation increase or decrease appears on the screen as you move.

6. When you reach the top of the feature, select .

TIP: To measure a new feature, you can select to clear the elevation information, then repeat steps 4 through 6.
