Sending a Check-In Message

Check-in messages are messages with predefined text and recipients.

TIP: You can customize check-in message recipients in the Garmin Messenger app. From the Device tab in the app, select Check-In > Edit Check-in Contacts.

1. Select an option:
   • Hold , and select Messenger Check-in.
   • Hold , and select Messenger > .
   • From the watch face, press , and select Messenger > .
2. Select a message.
3. If you are outside of an LTE coverage area, connect to a communication satellite (Connecting to Communication Satellites).
