Pairing Dive Computers and Transceivers

For more information about pairing and software updates, see the owner's manual for the Descent devices. To ensure compatibility when you are pairing devices, you should be in a location with internet access so that your devices can download the required software updates.

• Pair each user's dive computer with a Descent T2 transceiver, and set the placement location to My Tank.
• Pair each user's dive computer with the Garmin Dive app on their phone.
• Check for software updates for each user's dive computer and Descent T2 transceiver using the Garmin Dive app.
• Pair each user's dive computer with every other diver's Descent T2 transceiver, and set the placement location to Another Diver.
