Sync

When you make edits to data on the Garmin Explore™ website, such as updates to contacts, maps, preset messages, and quick text messages, you must sync the changes to your device before they are available on your device. You should also to sync your device when the administrator makes changes to profiles or settings that affect your device. When changes are available, Sync appears on the Devices tab, indicating you should sync your device.

You can sync your device using the mobile app on a paired smartphone (recommended). For some devices, you can also sync using a USB cable.
