Notes:
Garmin Aviation PC Trainers simulate multiple Garmin avionics systems and provide you with an on-the-ground environment to learn the basic operation of your Garmin avionics, as well as offline manuals and additional resources.
The PC Trainer Suite Launcher 3.0.1.0 provides the simplest experience for installing your Garmin Trainers and keeping them up-to-date. Once installed, select the avionics trainer products you wish to use, and the Launcher will download them automatically. A high-speed internet connection is recommended. If a reliable interenet connection is not available, please see Offline Installation below.
Please note: upgrading to the 3.0.1.0 Launcher from the 2.x version will install newer versions of many of the existing avionics trainers. Some settings may be restored to their default state.

- Configurability to change between different combinations of navigator and display models
- Integrated application crash reporting and feedback submission for the Windows applications to help improve future versions of the products

- 2.4GHz dual core processor or equivalent
- Windows® 7 or later. Note: Windows 8 is not supported and must be updated to Windows 8.1. Most versions of Windows may require installing Windows updates to proceed with installation.
- 3GB free hard disk space; 7GB for installation
- Microsoft DirectX® 9.0 or higher
- 256MB 3D accelerated graphics card or higher
- Screen resolution: 1280 x 1024 or higher recommended
Due to the graphics- and memory-intensive nature of this PC Trainer, it is recommended that it be the only application running on your PC. Even if your computer meets the minimum system requirements, the trainer may not function properly due to the unique configuration and processes that are utilized by your specific computer.
This application operates on Windows 7 and later (macOS® is not supported).

Offline Installation
For trainer installation without the use of an active internet connection, install the offline version of the Trainer Launcher and Databases, then download and run the installer for each avionics system you wish to install.

Click on 'Download' and save the file to your computer. Choose a location where you can easily locate the file once the download is complete. The file may take 5-30 minutes or more to download, depending on internet connection speed. A high-speed internet connection is recommended.
Locate and extract the contents of the archive file titled GarminTrainerSetup_3010.zip to a temporary location.
Once all files have been extracted, run GarminTrainerSetup.exe. The setup wizard will take you through the process of selecting the avionics you with to install.

Installation Instructions
Click on 'Download', save the setup application to your computer, and then run it.
The setup wizard will take you through the process of selecting the avionics you wish to install and download the necessary components. This process may take 5-30 minutes, depending on internet connection speed. A high-speed internet connection is recommended.
Note: User Account Control (UAC) may present a dialog to request permission to install software. An administrator password may be required. For more information on UAC, visit Microsoft's web site.
Once the software has been installed, launch 'Garmin Trainers' from your Start menu.
Note: If limited Internet connectivity or other issues encountered during the download process prevent installation using this download installer, an offline version of the installation software can be found here.
