We are committed to providing updates for our marine cartography products. As updates become available, we will make every effort to ensure the areas of coverage for a given card remain the same. Updates may include new data or Notice to Mariners (NTM) changes.
When you purchase a new preloaded chartplotter, pre-programmed BlueChart®g2 HD, BlueChart® g2 Vision HD, LakeVü HD or LakeVü HD Ultra microSD™ card, you’re entitled to the newest version1 of charts/maps. Visit Marine Chart/Map Updates to get started. Updated charts/maps will be for the same (or equivalent²) region as the original purchase.
If your chartplotter came preloaded with BlueChart g2 or LakeVü HD maps, you can update your charts/maps for the most accurate navigation.
If you have a preprogrammed BlueChartg2 HD, BlueChart g2 Vision HD, LakeVü HD or LakeVü HD Ultra microSD card, you can update them for a discounted price³. You can download the updates, or you can visit a participating Garmin dealer to purchase the update on a microSD™ card. Updated charts/maps will be for the same (or equivalent²) region as the original purchase.
Examine your BlueChart or LakeVü microSD card with SD adapter closely for damage immediately upon receipt. We will accept returned BlueChart, LakeVü or LakeVü Ultra cards within 10 days of the purchase date if the cards are found to be defective. Update programs are only available in the U.S. We require valid proof of purchase to be eligible for these programs. We reserve the right to modify or terminate marine update programs without notice.
