With dynamic content from MSN Direct, you can avoid traffic backups when you travel with your compatible Garmin device. MSN Direct broadcasts traffic data to your GPS navigator so you can find the best route through traffic, check traffic flow and receive accident warnings.
MSN Direct comes in two versions, each going beyond traffic offerings to provide you access to useful content while on the go. With Version 1 of MSN Direct, you'll receive local gas prices, movie times, weather forecasts and current conditions on your compatible GPS navigator.
MSN Direct Version 2 offers extended dynamic content, including enhanced movie listings, local events, news and stocks and the ability to send Microsoft Live Search Maps data to your Garmin GPS. This version is only compatible with the nuvi 7xx or 8xx series Garmin GPS uits. Learn more

To receive traffic information and other dynamic content on your compatible Garmin GPS, a traffic receiver and antenna are needed to process and transmit the information to your unit.

A limited free trial of MSN Direct service is included with the MSN Direct Receiver that comes with your unit. You will need to activate the subscription to start receiving MSN data. Visit the MSN Direct website to activate or renew your service.
