Service an out-of-warranty product in three easy steps:

  STEP 1:  Look-up Factory Flat Repair Rate 

Garmin offers a complete factory overhaul of the models below. Select a product from the pull-down menu below to view the flat-rate repair charge. Rates include shipping and handling.

Note: Repairs have a 90 day warranty. If the unit sent in is still under its original warranty, then the new warranty is 90 days or to the end of the original one year warranty, depending upon which is longer.

  • Prices include complete factory overhaul to new required specifications and domestic UPS® Ground shipment back to the customer. Overnight and international return shipping is available for an additional $25.00.
  • Service Policy and Flat Repair Rates are subject to change without notice.
  • Rates are shown in U.S. Dollars and apply to service in the United States only.
  • For models not shown above, call our Technical Support group for service availability. Phone numbers are listed below.
  • Garmin reserves the right to make changes or improvements in its products from time to time without incurring the obligation to install such improvements or changes on equipment or items previously manufactured.
  • Garmin retains the exclusive right to either repair or replace the unit with a "newly-overhauled" (NOH) unit or new unit, or offer a full refund of the flat rate of repair at its sole discretion. The same policy shall apply to software.
  • Garmin is obligated to charge sales tax in any state where we maintain a branch or office. Currently, we are required to collect sales tax in AZ, CA, FL, IL, KS, MO, NM, and WA. For these states, sales tax is charged on total merchandise plus shipping charges.

 

  STEP 2:  Contact Garmin Tech Support to receive an RMA number and arrange payment

Call or e-mail Garmin Technical Support Specialists to describe the problem you are experiencing, request a Return Material Authorization (RMA) tracking number, and arrange payment. You will need to provide the unit's serial number (if applicable), your return shipping address, and a daytime telephone number.

***Aviation Panel Mount or Aviation Remote Mount products require an authorized person to return the aircraft system to service after product repair. Please arrange RMA's through your favorite Authorized Garmin Aviation Service Center.***

  STEP 3:  Ship the unit, along with RMA number to Garmin

Once you have received the RMA number, securely package the unit and ship it (insured) to the following address:
