Notes:
- This software is intended for use with the Garmin GPS 10. This software should only be downloaded to the unit for which it is intended. If this software is downloaded to a GPS unit other than the product it is designed for, it may render the unit inoperative. If the software download fails, and subsequent download attempts prove unsuccessful, the unit may need to be returned for service.
- Please send feedback (questions and error reports) regarding this beta software to GMobilebeta@garmin.com. Please DO NOT call the Garmin Customer Support number for reports concerning this beta release as they will not be able to provide support for this software.
- Reverting to previous software revisions will clear all user data.
- If map installation is necessary, use the product CD provided with your Garmin GPS 10.
- There are some important differences in Garmin Mobile XT vs. Garmin Que with GPS 10 that you should note:
- Garmin Mobile XT does not provide configurable data fields with the map display.
- Garmin Mobile XT does not provide mapping of device buttons to specific Garmin Mobile XT application functions.
- Garmin Mobile XT does not provide 'Sun and Moon' and 'Hunt and Fish' utilities.
- There may be other functions that Garmin Mobile XT does not provide that are not listed here.
- The use of Garmin Online features requires an internet connection. The use of the Garmin Online -> Traffic feature requires City Navigator Version 8 NT maps or newer.
- A minimum SD card size of 256 MB is recommended for Garmin Mobile XT software with maps.
- If you have previously installed the Garmin Que for PPC application, you must uninstall Garmin Que before installing the Garmin Mobile XT beta application.
- Known issues:
- Program memory constraints may cause issues when running this application on a VGA device. Although the WM applet may show significant free program memory, artificial limitations within the program memory may stop the application from running correctly.
- Minimum Windows Mobile requirements: Windows Mobile® 2003 operating system or newer (enabled with Bluetooth® wireless technology), 16 MB program memory (Pocket PC only), 128 MB storage card minimum, 2GB storage card for full coverage.
- Although this software is believed to be reliable, it has not yet been released for production and should be used at your own risk.
