This file is a self extracting .exe file. The download file contains the Garmin Route Planning software, WFDE Prediction Software 006-A0154-02 for the GNS 480, and Garmin Route Planning Users Manual 560-0180-01
Garmin Route Planner is a flight planning tool that creates a file to be used in conjuction with Garmin WFDE Prediction software 006-A0154-02.

Click on 'Download' and choose to save the file to your computer
Choose a location where you can easily locate the file by saving it to a location such as 'My Documents' folder or to 'C:\'
Once the download is complete, run the downloaded install file by double clicking on it.
Once the install is complete, you may delete the downloaded install file
The default directory for the Route Planning software and Route Planning Users Guide when installed on your PC is - 'C:\Program Files\Garmin\Route Planning'
