Dear Sirs,
I recently bought a Garmin c320 for my car after having used a GPS III for years and years. Just thought I'd drop you a note to let you know how fantastic the unit is and how impressed I am by your backup service and firmware updates. Well done Garmin.
Many Thanks,
B. M.

I purchased this item right before flying to Chicago (from the Seattle Area). My brother-in-law was supposed to show us around Chicago but said he’d not spent much time downtown. If it hadn’t been for the StreetPilot c320, we’d still be trying to find our way out. It was so helpful that we learned to never hesitate to do what it asked. It was so easy to use that my wife would, without hesitation, punch in the requests as I drove. She soon was using it without me in the car.
After visiting with her brother, we drove to La Crosse, WI, to see my Dad. I intended to travel the freeways, but (on my own) headed the wrong direction from my brother’s house. The Street Pilot navigated us over (good) 2-lane roads for a large portion of the trip. We got a good view of the Amish farm country and the rural areas of the state. It was a fantastic experience that we’d never have attempted without the security of knowing we’d never get lost or where the next food or fuel stop might be. We returned to my brother-in-law’s house via the freeways and knew the 320 would take us exactly where we wanted to go.
After this trip, my wife said to me, “This is one of the best investments we have ever made.” Since that time, we have used it to find our way around our own city (despite having lived here nearly 50 years). It is useful for finding stores, new addresses, parks, and nearly anything else you can imagine. Sometimes we take it just because its fun to listen to the directions.
I must make one other confession…We named our StreetPilot. I wanted to call her “Garmin San Diego”, but my wife figured we’d just shorten it to “Garmin” and she didn’t think it was a very feminine name. She came up with “Miss Direction”, which could be misleading, but I concurred (I’ve learned a few things during our 34-year marriage). Most of the time we simply refer to it as “her.” ( “Do you have her?” "Ask her how to get to…” "Isn’t she great?”)
Thank you, for developing this wonderful product. I love to drive and now I never get lost or worried.
