"iQue™ 3600 found to be fantastic"

I just wanted to let you know what a fantastic little machine the 3600 is. I drove diagonal through the states after downloading the necessary maps. Not once did I have to ask somebody for post offices, motels, ect. I always found it within seconds. I used an Alpine GPS before, but the 3600 beats Alpine by a mile. Thank you for the good work.

"Gold Wing has a iQue™ 3600 for a companion"

I've had this unit for a few months and all I have to say is, "IT'S GREAT." It works great in the car. All the voice directions are very clear. It even works super on my motorcycle. There is no glare on the screen because the mount is very adjustable. Even with the speaker/cigarette lighter adapter plugged into my bike, the voice can be heard at speeds of at least 75 mph. I wanted more that a GPS and with the built in PDA, I have it all now.

"iQue 3600: improving his quality of life"

Dear Garmin,

I just wanted to thank you (and your genius staff) for designing such a wonderful product, namely Garmin iQue 3600. This is the first time I've ever written to any company to thank them for their product. The quality of the graphics, the ability to navigate from point to point, and the possibilities it creates are just amazing. You can wonder off to areas of cities, towns, or just about anywhere that you never would've otherwise. My quality of life has certainly improved because of your product.

Thank you again.

"iQue 3600 enables medical personnel to reach downed motorcyclist"

Garmin technical support,

Per our discussion, here is my life-saving testimony for the Garmin iQue 3600....

On 3-27-04, a number of my friends and I had taken the kids out to ride quads in the Mojave desert. The location we were riding is approximately 15 miles back in the desert away from civilization. While riding alongside the kids making sure they didn't get into any problems, I ran into my own set of problems. Apparently I crashed my motorcycle. I say "apparently" because I don't recall anything about the accident. I woke up looking at paramedics and the sheriff's department. One of my friends has a Garmin iQue 3600 system that he uses at his trucking business. Lucky he was carrying it with him on this day because it a God send to have it.

I was unconscious for over 20 minutes and the location of the accident can't be determined due to the lack of location signs in the middle of the desert. Tim made the call to 911 and relayed our latitude and longitude to the emergency response team. They were able to arrive just as I was waking up. According to the paramedics, they normally have a response time to these types of accidents of 1 to 2 hours due to the vast area of open country. Normally they will send the Life Flight unit out because they can locate you faster. In this case, because Tim had his iQue 3600, he was able to get them to me in less than 20 minutes. Apparently all emergency vehicles have GPS in their units which is a great help to them and to the victims of situations such as this.

As a result of this happening, I have purchased one of your iQue 3600 units for two reasons:

1. It is a great tool in the business world for storing addresses and information I need to tap into when I'm away from the office. Also it will get me to where I need to go without looking on a map while driving in the Los Angeles area—another dangerous thing to do.

2. I can rest comfortable now when I'm in the middle of nowhere and I need some kind of assistance during a unforeseen situation. I have a way to get help.

Thanks for making such a great tool.

"Help for a European transplant"

Transplanted to Europe as I have been, with scant language skills to help me get around, the Garmin iQue 3600 has been instrumental in getting me to areas I don't know many times since I bought the unit several months ago. The European software has not failed once. I now blindly trust the unit and just follow the turns as verbally instructed, even if they don't seem to coincide with my own map reading. I have recommended the unit to everyone who has asked. I just received the European software update today (FREE, thanks!). I'm looking forward to taking the unit to the states and trying it there.

Thanks for such a great tool.

Sincerely,

"Making the most of a wedding weekend in L.A."

First, let me say that I am a natural skeptic. Upon the purchase of my iQue 3600, I was in a constant state of “Wow, this was too much money...it can’t be worth it.”

Well, I recently returned from a trip to L.A. where I attended a wedding. I needed to get from the airport, to the car rental place, to the hotel, to the rehearsal party, to the wedding church, to the reception, and back to the hotel, to the breakfast restaurant, to the home of the wedding couple, back to the hotel, and then back to car rental return, etc. In very basic terms, the iQue 3600 was absolutely incredible. I put all the places in as waypoints. It was so easy, so accurate, and it made us feel so secure in a very tough area to navigate. Even when we wanted to “tour around “ Beverly Hills, it told us where we were and exactly how to get back on track. I am so completely overwhelmed with this product. I will never leave home without it. It has so many additional features that saying it’s just a GPS is totally inaccurate. It is a complete travel guide. I’ve owned it for 7-8 months and I’m still learning cool new features. Your search is over. It talks, it’s got a touch screen—it’s everything you could want in a GPS or a PDA. Just do it. You will be writing one of these—I guarantee.

Don wrote another e-mail to Garmin. Here's a little of what he had to say:

Don't tell the marketing folks this, but....the iQue 3600 is worth twice what I paid. It's simply an example of state-of-the-art technology that targets an exact need and utility of many of us. I only wish a non-user could experience this unit in action, because words sometimes cannot express the joy and control over a traveling situation that normally could be very stressing. The fact that it also has all of the Palm PDA technology and software potentials is a whole additional testimony. Don't get me started! Oh yeah...the Garmin phone support is absolutely the best I have ever heard congenial, smart, helpful....and personal. How do they do all of this?

"Business or pleasure, U.K. or U.S."

We purchased the iQue 3600 because of its portability and because we travel by car in the U.S. and Europe for both business and pleasure. What a pleasure it is to know where you are instead of relying on road signs. In Wales, our iQue directed us down some of the most wonderful back country roads to our castle or B&B destinations. In Arizona, it found the nearest Starbucks while traveling in Mesa. We are going for two weeks in the U.K., and with the external antenna, the couple in the back seat will be the navigators. What a wonderful tool/toy!

"The iQue 3600 makes driving safer"

I received this unit for Father's Day and it is truly remarkable. I travel out of town to several locations each and every day, and without this unit, I would be on my phone asking for directions constantly. I never have to take my eyes off the road after I type in the address I'm wanting to go to. The voice instructions tell me when I am coming up on my next turn. It has really made traveling both easier and safer. And I can't get lost! The Palm features are also quite handy. I would highly recommend that you buy a memory card to go with this unit when you first purchase it to store maps on. Trust me—it is worth the money!

Sincerely,

"The iQue 3600 offers relief to retirees while in San Juan"

Garmin,

Our Garmin iQue follows a Garmin GPS III which followed a Garmin 45, our first GPS. The earlier Garmins were used alone or connected to a laptop computer loaded with electronic maps. Electronic navigation and maps were fascinating toys and often useful as well.

Two months ago we carried the iQue during a cruise on our Montgomery 15 (15-foot-long sailboat) in the San Juan Islands. This boat is tiny—the room in the cabin is about equal to the space under a dining room table! My wife and I are quite comfortable cruising on this boat for a few days. The little iQue is the right size.

Before leaving for the Islands, I had bought a cable to connect the Garmin iQue to my old Motorola Star Tac cell phone. I downloaded a copy of Eudora email from the web. With this outfit, I was able to call my ISP in Bozeman and connect with my email server!

The first time I really used this was one night when we were anchored in our Montgomery 15 in Blind Bay near Shaw Island. Our son was flying to China that day and it was also his birthday. We were feeling just a little lonesome and anxious in the dark cabin of our tiny boat in this remote bay.

I fired up the iQue and checked my e-mail. We had mail! Here was a note from our son telling us that he had landed okay in China and was meeting a friend! Using the iQue and graffiti, I acknowledged his message and told him where we were. I went to sleep that night relieved, smiling, and thinking "Gee whiz, thanks iQue!".

Oh yes, the MP3 player in the iQue is now the hi-fi system for our little boat. Just right! I have only owned the iQue for a few months. It has already "paid it's way" with entertainment and utility.

Keep up the good work.

Charless wrote back and sent a picture.

Attached is a picture of our little boat cruising in the San Juans. The Garmin iQue is, of course, safely down in the cabin.

"The iQue 3600 keeps this sales manager on the road and on time"

Dear Garmin,

I have to share with your present and future customers what a great product you have designed with the iQue 3600. My work requires travel at a minute's notice, and now I have no problem getting there when needed. The tracking of your time, speed, and ETA is wonderful. No more guessing if I'll make my appointments on time. The listing—with bold-enough letters to read at a moment's glance for the next turn—is also very helpful! I cannot mention all the pluses this unit provides in a short letter.

My wife, who isn't the best navigator, was able to experience the marvels of the iQue last weekend. We traveled, and she got her chance to see just how accurate the system is with the quick direction on which split of a highway ramp needed to be taken.

The added bonus of the PDA capabilities makes this a complete unit for a business person like myself.
My eTrex has guided me without failure in the woods for years, and now my iQue has me taken care of on the roads by storing all my contact and document information.

Keep up the good work!

"Can't leave home without it"

Dear Garmin:

At first I could not believe that a GPS system could be packaged in such a small device. Then, when I received the iQue 3600, I was thinking to use it only as a GPS—but boy, was I wrong! When I took it to work, everyone was asking, "What is that?" When I told them it was a PDA, MP3 player, and last of all it was also a complete GPS system with voice navigation and fully contained with no need to connect with cables or any external antennas, they said "Wow!

Now I can't leave home without it. I use this PDA all day long!

Thank you Garmin for this great idea.

"Leap of faith leads to a 3600"

Dear Garmin,

I've been in the insurance business for seven years. I love my job. However, finding my appointments was a living nightmare most of the time. I could not tell you how much money I've lost due to just not getting there on time. Also, the many near-accidents I've had from searching for street signs and house numbers. I bought a laptop with a GPS, but it was too difficult to use in a real-world situation. Then, just as I was about to give up on my career, I found the iQue. I took a leap of faith and bought it. This little beast saved my business and most likely my life. Everything is better: My sales are up to a level I never thought possible, and my stress level is down. I'm telling you—anyone in outside sales should get one of these things. And just a hint to any sales managers out there: Get these things, give them to your agents, have a 30-45 minute training meeting, and watch what happens to your numbers. If they don't go up the first month 60-100 percent, call me. I'll eat my iQue.

"Great product and great support"

I bought the iQue when it first came out. I have found it to be an indispensable part of my travelling. Not only does it consistently work well, but the software upgrades have been thoughtful and easy for the average person to install. For example, I had noticed that the unit could accidentally turn on if the record button were pushed. The newest software fix takes care of that problem.

So, a great product and great support. It's rare today to find that combination.

"Garmin 'got it right'"

Ever since I received my iQue 3600 in early August, I've still been trying other products. I've played with a (he lists three competitors' products). Without a doubt, those days of trying other manufacturers' software/GPS solutions are over. The iQue 3600 will be relegated back to my primary PDA and primary GPS unit. Garmin got it right while the others can't even come close to what you've accomplished. When or if you come out with another PDA/GPS configuration, sign me up to purchase and then my wife can have my "old" unit.

Great job from a very pleased consumer.

"The iQue 3600: 'Everyone should own one'"

All I can say is WOW! What a great device for the money one pays. I was amazed at how easy it was to use this GPS unit. Also when you are following a route and you get detoured, it will recalculate within seconds. I think everyone should own one of these handy devices. Far more than just the GPS are the many things it can do as a PDA.

"iQue 3600 reveals Cape Town shortcuts"

Hi Garmin,

This is a great product! People that I show it to don't believe the features that it has and I think that half of them believe that I am making it up as I go along. Thank goodness you have detailed maps of South Africa. No more driving around Cape Town looking for streets and street numbers. No more maps falling into the footwell under hard braking. I just get directed straight to the front door, and it has even showed me some shortcuts that I never knew about even though I thought my knowledge of Cape Town was great.

It has made seeing over 300 new clients a year an absolute pleasure and I now look forward to driving. Love it!!

Regards,

C. B.

"Kudos to the iQue 3600 and European City Select—from Belgium"

I have been using the iQue 3600 with the European City Select map software in Belgium.  Directional signs seem to be an option here. Before I got my iQue 3600, I was continually getting lost, even on short trips. The iQue 3600 has not failed to get me to my destination via the shortest and/or quickest route. I am very happy with both the quality of the hardware and software. The iQue 3600, the cable connections, and the included accessories are top quality.  The map software (City Select v6, Europe) is very detailed. It shows even walking paths in the countryside.

"Keep up the good work"

Dear Garmin Staff,

Re: iQue 3600

Wow! What a unit. I purchased my iQue two weeks ago and have used it both on city streets and on the water.

I'm a Sales manager for a plastics manufacturer and cover the entire western seaboard. The iQue gives me options and benefits unmatched for someone in my line of work. I also own a boat and spend as much time as my job will allow with my family cruising the Gulf Islands off the coast of British Columbia. Navigating these waters is something that requires attention to detail, and the iQue performs great.

I've had to phone customer service a few times while on the road/water and they (the tech staff) have been great.

Great job Garmin. Keep up the good work.

"iQue 3600 saves the trip to Barcelona"

I just got back from Europe and I used my iQue every day. It saved us when our flight from Paris to Barcelona was canceled. We rented a car and drove down. It got us right to our hotel! I love this thing!

Thank you,

Dave

"Traveling Baltimore and Washington, D.C. with their iQue 3600"

My wife and I recently took a trip to the Washington, D.C. area. The iQue 3600 was invaluable. We used it to find our way around D.C.—to find the nearest subway stops, as well as restaurants and other places of interest.

One evening we decided to go to Baltimore because we had never been there. The iQue 3600 guided us to the Baltimore area. Then, as we drove around Baltimore, it got to be supper time. We used the iQue 3600 to find the restaurants that were close to us. We got the phone number and called one that was close and asked them about their specials. It sounded good, so we used the iQue 3600 to guide us there. We had a terrific meal at a place that we would otherwise never have found.

The next day we told the owners of the B&B we were staying at about our experience and they immediately got online and purchased an iQue 3600 to use in their travels.

We plan to take it everywhere we travel in the future.

"iQue 3600 gives anxiety sufferer new hope"

Hi, my name is Joanie. I am a 39-year-old female, and I live in Jacksonville, Florida. I am a person who suffers from a panic/anxiety disorder, which made it impossible for me to drive in areas I was unfamiliar with. I would either freeze up completely in the middle of the road, or I just wouldn't leave my home.

I received the iQue 3600 as a birthday gift, and I love it. I feel as though someone has given me back my freedom. I now go anywhere I want to because I am no longer afraid of getting lost. I never leave my home without it.

This is a product that I will highly recommend to anyone, especially someone that suffers from traumatic brain injury where they forget where they are going and how to get back home, or someone with the same disorder as I have. I think this is an item that should be recommended by doctors and paid for by insurance companies for people who have a medical necessity for it.

All I can say is thank you, Garmin. I am no longer afraid or depressed, and because I am getting out of the house, I am losing weight like crazy.

Joanie

"How amazing is the iQue™? Let me count the ways..."

People need to know how amazing this product is. I've used other GPS devices before, but this one has solved all of the previous problems, specifically:

  • The resolution, color pattern, and LED brightness are adequate to easily read the display during daylight hours.
  • The software-adjustable text size facilitates reading street names without reading glasses (crucial while driving).
  • The front-side, center button allows immediate zooming in and out to obtain the amount of detail needed under changing conditions.
  • The software's ability to quickly recalculate a route if you go off track is unbelievably fast and accurate. It simply won't let you get lost.
  • The car adapter is versatile enough to allow you to position the unit on virtually any dashboard, and the external speaker makes hearing and understanding the instructions a non-issue, even in a noisy car.
  • With a 512 MB SD card in place, the unit can hold detailed map information for half the U.S.A. at a time.

There are too many great features to list. In summary, this unit does what it is supposed to do and does it extremely accurately and with great user friendliness. Every car should have one. No one should "leave home without it"!

"iQue 3600 tours Europe"

Less than 2 years ago, I bought a new car (a BMW 3 series), but didn't take the GPS navigation system as an option, as I frequently travel all around Europe in a car other than mine. So I was an ideal customer for a portable GPS. More recently, I saw in a nearby dealer an exciting GPS + PDA device, the new Garmin® iQue 3600. It seemed quite more professional than ordinary PDAs with non-professional GPS navigation software you can add on. So I bought the iQue 3600.

iQue 3600 Tours Europ

It's absolutely impressive! The device has an average 5-10 m accuracy in all situations, showing all the time the place you are and the route you must go! I suggest to add on the external antenna (you can place it inside the car, near the windscreen) so as to never lose the satellite signal, even driving between big trees. (I tried that in the Dark Forest in Germany!) The maps are really very realistic and the voice always tells you the way to go! Even in very small routes, as between Bitburg in Germany and Vianden in Luxemburg, for example, with a lot of trees and mountains all around (and under a snowstorm, in my case!), the system guides you with near 5-meter accuracy! You just have to program a destination and follow the instructions. I could compare the map quality, as well as the accuracy, with other known systems in the market and I am absolutely sure that Garmin is the right choice! Recently, I tried another known (and expensive) system—I prefer not to mention the brand—and noted the poor-quality map, as well as accuracy of only 20 meters! It's really better to buy a navigation system made by a known GPS maker, and not by a car audio system manufacturer.

In addition, my map installation CD was accidentally damaged, and I sent an e-mail to Garmin so as to know how to have a new CD. Five days later, I received a new CD in my home with no extra cost! I'm really convinced that in the GPS field, Garmin is the right company and has the right products!

Thank you for your message. You can include all my comments in your newsletter and website.

I'm enclosing a picture of my iQue in action so you can note that the mobile kit base is stable enough to allow a positioning very close to the driver and not allowing eyes off the road.

"iQue to the rescue in China"

I purchased an iQue 3600 for my husband's birthday in November 2003. He frequently travels in China, and is currently in China and brought the iQue with him. I just received the attached e-mail. I have never felt so good about a gift!

A. K.

Here's what A.K.'s husband said:

Yesterday the iQue saved me. I was driving from Guangzhou to Jiangmen in a really crappy cab, and I did not trust that the driver knew where he was going. I flipped out the GPS and sure enough, I watched him make a circle on the screen. I then called my contact in Jiangmen and had him talk the guy in, as my driver did not speak a word of English.

"The iQue 3600 does a little civil engineering"

I got my iQue 3600 some three months ago. I use it every day for short and longer trips. It really helps if you know when you are arriving to a destination. Working as civil engineer, I also found it useful on site for quick measuring and profile scanning. With a 128 MB SD card, I am able to have my presentations and other stuff (pics, music, memos) with me.

"iQue helps the good doctor make her rounds"

Hello Garmin Group,

I purchased the iQue 3600 one month ago. Since then, it has guided me across the country to Minnesota and back, and got me "unlost" in the tangled streets of Boston. It also plays cheerful music, has all my important info and, best of all, holds medical prescribing software so that I can give my patients and myself the latest updates on prescription medication. My iQue also holds dosage calculators and the latest ACLS and PALS updates.

Thanks, Garmin, for a great product. I never thought I would enjoy a handheld device so much. Keep those maps and voice prompts coming.

Best regards,

Dr. D. C., A.B.E.M.

"Great product. Great service."

I love my iQue 3600. I had a problem at first, but your customer service team took care of me like you would not believe.

I just placed an order for three more units for our sales staff. Great product. Great service. Keep it up.

My best,

John

"Non-commissioned iQue salesman"

Your website and others confirmed how great a device the iQue 3600 is. I have used it in the backcountry of Virginia, and it was terrific. The integration of contact addresses and GPS makes it very easy to use, plus all the other features make it an invaluable device. Two of my friends have bought one after seeing mine. Too bad I am not on commission.

"Peace of mind: the iQue 3600"

To whom it may concern,

I just wanted to say thank you for creating a great product. I have had my Garmin iQue 3600 for a few months now, and I love it. I previously had a (competitor's product), but this is my first GPS.

My work involves driving to various clients' homes on a daily basis. I have found that 98% of my clients have no idea where they live nor how to get there from here. Using online map programs were not all that helpful either. Many a time, those directions would have me going left instead of right and right instead of left.

Then there's the issue of driving at night. Many towns and cities have problems keeping up street signs and keeping them clear of tree branches and weeds. And I have found that many towns have no signs at all. Then there's trying to read directions in the dark or driving with the overhead light on. Not that driving during the day is any easier when you're trying to read directions and find where you left off.

One night, prior to receiving your unit, I went around the world in an hour. I was in a small town for a last minute 10 p.m. appointment. Here, they apparently roll up the sidewalks at 5 p.m. and there were hardly any streetlights. After leaving the clients' home at about 11:30 p.m., I became lost and tried to backtrack to their home to start again. I frequently had to do this when trying to following directions backwards.

I couldn't find it. I drove around and stopped at a Duncan Donuts, a convenience store, and two 24-hour gas stations. Not one of the employees at any of these places spoke English. I felt like was in the Twilight Zone and had been transported from one country to another. I was beyond upset. I didn't make it home that night until after 1:30 a.m.

That was why I bought your unit. It is too stressful to be lost all the time and not know how to find my way.

Thank you for the peace of mind and the stress reduction.

Sincerely,

T. B.

"The 3600 goes 3800 without a hitch"

Dear Garmin:

I just finished a 3800-mile road trip throughout the Northwest with my newly acquired iQue 3600. The device worked flawlessly, and I experienced an amazingly easy learning curve in its operation, having only obtained it two days before my departure. I should note that this trip was routed on many off-highway roads and to the addresses of the many family and friends we visited. What a terrific piece of technology!

I have been using my Garmin GPS III for sailing and fishing for several years, including an extended offshore cruise to mainland Mexico, so you already had my respect for your products.

I just wanted to say thanks and keep up the great work.

Best regards,

"No rocket scientist needed"

I just recently purchased the iQue 3600 from the online Costco warehouse. The price was right and it came with all the accessories other companies wanted to charge me extra for. As an undecided buyer, I was torn between the (competitor's product) Handheld and the Garmin iQue 3600. I found purchasing the (competitor's product) would cost me about $1100.00 when adding GPS. The iQue 3600's final cost was $549.00, including tax and shipping. After receiving the iQue 3600, I thought I needed to be somewhat of a rocket scientist to figure the gadget out. To my surprise, I was able to learn and have my GPS ready to travel in less than two days. The instructions were easy and simple to learn. This is my first PDA, and it definitely made my life very easy. I have stored all my contacts, set all appointments, and traveled to my destinations without the hassle of opening the paper map. I just input the intended address to my destination, and before I know it, I am within 10 feet from my objective.

"Even seniors love the iQue"

Dear Garmin,

I am a senior citizen who likes and owns quite a few tech devices. I am, however, very seldom moved to write the manufacturer about them. For the iQue 3600, I felt compelled to let you know what a satisfying product it is. It is a lot of fun to use and has great practical value. Keep up the good work.

"Making quick work of traffic snarls with the iQue 3600"

Garmin,

I purchased my iQue 3600 at Comp USA on Sept 18th, just before a trip. I used the unit to navigate back roads around an 8-mile traffic jam on the interstate (replacing a couple of hours of frustration with 10 minutes of fun). I was using a (competitor's product), but I was blown away by the brightness and clarity of the screen on the iQue 3600. It has been great. Thanks for a very fun and useful tool.

"Thanks for the positive support"

I have owned an iQue 3600 for three months. This is truly an amazing product. I was an early adopter to the Palms, and this unit sums it all up. You get what you pay for. I travel in the car and by plane weekly and this gets me to where I am going without getting lost. Also, Garmin customer support is by far the best support team I have ever dealt with on any electronic device. Time after time, you all are patient, willing to answer questions, and offer solutions without long hold times and without going through a long computerized phone tree to reach a live person. Your products and support team have lead to many positive recommendations and, in return, an increase in the sale of iQue 3600s (by my business partners, friends, and family). Thank you!

"iQue takes over for StreetPilot III"

Dear Garmin,

I have a StreetPilot III and love it. Now, with this new iQue, its compact design and PDA function have made my travels much easier and fun. Now my sister and my neighbor want to buy one. What a great product!!

"Accounts Manager diggin' the 3600"

I just received my new iQue 3600. This product has exceeded my expectation more than anything I can recall. The fact that this is a new offering makes it all the more impressive. I have been involved with high-technology product marketing for many years, so I have seen my share of new product launches. You should be proud of the job you have done.

I am currently a regional accounts manager covering the U.S. and Canada. I visit so many different cities once or twice a year that navigation is always a problem. The iQue 3600 is going to save me a tremendous amount of time and aggravation.

Thank you, and keep up the good work.

"iQue 3600 helps provide quick medical response for crash victims"

Dear Garmin:

Last week, I had been down on the Gulf Coast (Gulf Shores, Alabama) sailing and trying out my new Garmin iQue 3600. I have used a Palm Pilot and Garmin GPS III as separate units for years, but really liked the idea of combining these two functions into one unit.

On Friday, as I was driving home to Birmingham going north somewhere on I-65, I saw a two-vehicle wreck as it was happening. I immediately pulled over and went to assist along with other motorists. A young girl, about 12 years old, was thrown from one of the vehicles and was lying in the grass median. One person was already on the cell phone talking to the 911 operator, when a blank look suddenly came over his face. I heard him say "I don't know." Then he yelled out, "Does anyone know where we are?" I was able to say "Yes." I then turned on the iQue GPS and within seconds, it was synchronized. I then pulled up a map that showed me the exact spot and mile marker.

He was able to tell them our exact location so they could dispatch the closest emergency assistance. Within minutes, a small-town volunteer fire department, state trooper and ambulance arrived to assist. Thanks to the ready accessibility of the Garmin GPS and the accurate location info, these people were able to get prompt medical attention.

Sincerely,
C. S.

" Simply amazing"

Dear Garmin Team,

About a week ago, I purchased the iQue 3600, an external antenna, car kit, 512 MB SD card, and travel kit. This is one of the most amazing, innovative consumer products in a long time. Due to the intuitive nature of the data input and overall user interface, it took less than an hour to get fully acquainted with the product. The accuracy level of the GPS function is astounding. The turn-by-turn voice navigation is very helpful since I have the unique skill to get lost everywhere I go. With the 512 MB SD card, I am able to get most populated areas of the U.S. "on board".

Best regards,
M. M. S.

"Galyan's associate becomes an iQue believer"

I am an associate at Galyan's in Peoria, Illinois. Recently, we received four iQue 3600 units. At first I thought this little amazing tech toy was just another gimmick. But after playing with it a few minutes, I realized how clever and unique it really is.

I was so intrigued by all of its uses that I began to steer potential customers away from ordinary GPS units and toward the iQue 3600. In ten days, I have sold two and expect to sell the other two soon. So with that in mind, I suggested that the company order me another ten to sell for the Christmas season. I, too, want to purchase an iQue and so I can better demonstrate all of features it contains. Congratulations on an incredible product.

"You get what you pay for"

Last week my neighbor let me borrow his Garmin GPS V. It was fun to use and accurate. I have been lost too many times so I decided to purchase a GPS. I searched the Internet and found the (competitor's product) for my Compaq iPAQ 3800. I bought it and discovered the hardware was defective after 5 hours of trying to get it to work. I returned it.

(Customer explained at length how he tried other competitors' units.)

I found the iQue at REI and purchased it. You get what you pay for. This is a great product and I am very satisfied with it (now that I have tried all the others). A co-worker just ordered his after seeing my iQue.

Thanks,
F. E.

" iQue 3600 and customer service create customer loyalty"

Dear Garmin,

I just wanted to take a moment to thank your company for the outstanding products and customer service that you provide. I am the happy owner of a Garmin iQue 3600—arguably the best personal electronics device I have ever purchased. In addition, I purchased an accessory—a friction mount. There was some confusion on which component I needed, but when I asked about it, your company "made it good" by providing me with the mount and the bracket at no additional fee. I just want to say that I have become and will remain a loyal Garmin customer as the result my excellent experiences.

Sincerely,
D. H.

"Keep up the good work"

I just wanted to thank you for the fantastic service and support I have received from your technical department since receiving my iQue 3600 unit about a month ago. I experienced software difficulties that would not allow me to use the mapping feature, so I called the support center and they resolved the problem over the phone is less than 10 minutes.

Thanks for the great service. The iQue is a great product. Keep up the good work.
