"Weekend biker's StreetPilot®"
This is my first Garmin®. I can't tell you how much I've used
the StreetPilot. I'm a "weekend biker" and take this
unit everywhere. Those back roads are great to ride on, and how
to get there (and back) is something I never have to worry about
with the StreetPilot! I've "marked" a lot of good places,
found those "out in the boonies" gas stations, and planned
a lot of return trips I could never have remembered! Everyone
that's seen it is so impressed!! I'm moving north soon, and boy,
being able to navigate around a new town with no fear is one less
thing I have to worry about! Thanks Garmin! I'm a customer for
life!

"Using StreetPilot ColorMap on the streets
of London"
I purchased a Garmin GPS 90 when I used to fly, and when I quit
flying, I moved the unit to the car. Unfortunately, it did not
display roads and streets as it was designed for the plane. This
year my wife asked me what I wanted for my birthday, and I told
her I wanted a StreetPilotš ColorMap, as my friend had one. Well,
we purchased it together one Saturday and as soon as we were out
of the shop, I plugged it into the car using the temporary adhesive
strips. When I got home, I downloaded two regions into the 16
MB cartridge from MapSource® and waited until Monday when I had
to use it.
Well, what a timesaver it is. I never carry a map with me now,
and I can get to any street in London and save a fortune in finding
places to park. I just punch in the location I want and once there,
I can find the nearest parking zone. A few weeks ago, I needed
some petrol really badly and I just used the GPS to locate the
nearest petrol stations to where I was. Brilliant ... absolutely
brilliant. I've been out of town with it and been to places I
would never have found in a million years. Keep up the good work.
