Garmin® New Hire to Focus on Interactive Marketing
OLATHE, Kan. Garmin International Inc., a unit of Garmin
Ltd. (Nasdaq: GRMN), a leading manufacturer of GPS-enabled navigation,
communication and information devices, is pleased to announce
the hiring of Craig Cushman as its Manager of Interactive and
Media Marketing.

and its possibilities to reach end-users, dealers and original
equipment manufacturers," said Jon Cassat, Garmin's
director of marketing communications. "We believe Craig is
uniquely gifted to take Garmin to the next level by integrating
these interactive capabilities with our current media buying,
PR and online efforts."
Prior to joining the Garmin team, Cushman culminated six years
with Nashua, N.H.-based Raytheon Marine Co. as Global Marketing
Manager. During his tenure at Raytheon, he developed key relationships
with boat manufacturers and increased awareness of the company
and its dealer programs using Web-based solutions.
Cushman's primary duties include development of Garmin's
website into an e-business platform, which will better serve the
companys aviation, marine and consumer electronics dealers.
He will also oversee all media advertising, public relations and
event marketing.
Cushmans experience as a marine marketing professional
and accomplished angler also comes at a particularly strategic
time for Garmin. The company is in the process of rolling out
an entirely new line of marine products ranging from handheld
and portable GPS devices to offshore fishfinders and high-end
chartplotters, all with improved accuracy and enhanced cartography.
