Garmin® Nets Partnership with NBA Superstar Yao Ming
OLATHE, Kan./April 12, 2005/PR Newswire — Garmin International, Inc., a unit of Garmin Ltd. (Nasdaq: GRMN), today announced that the company has formed a multi-year global partnership with NBA basketball superstar Yao Ming, who will play a key role in Garmin’s branding, promotion, and advertising plans for 2005 and beyond.

Broadcast and print advertisements featuring the 25-year-old basketball phenomenon will begin appearing in mid-May 2005. The partnership will extend through 2007.
