OLATHE, Kan. -- Garmin International, the world's leading GPS manufacturer, is pleased to announce the appointment of Dan Bartel as Director of Recreational and Mobile Electronics Sales. In his new position, Bartel will be responsible for the sales and marketing of Garmin's GPS and communication products to the OEM, marine, recreational, wireless and automotive markets.

"We are extremely fortunate to have Dan assume this new role with Garmin," said Gary Kelley, director of marketing.
