Garmin Ltd. Denies Having Made Counter Bid For Lowrance Electronics Inc.
CAYMAN ISLANDS/February 1, 2006/PR Newswire — Garmin Ltd. (Nasdaq: GRMN), today denied reports that it has made a counter bid to acquire Lowrance Electronics after Simrad Yachting’s announced tender offer on January 30, 2006.
The erroneous report appeared in the February 1, 2006 edition of the New York Post, citing unidentified sources.
