Country Music Marathon
April 26th, 2008 - Nashville, TNThis race is recognized internationally as the ultimate tour of Music City, USA. The marathon will start in Centennial Park and run through Nashville's most scenic sights. 50 bands on 28 entertainment stages and hundreds of high school cheerleaders will entertain runners, walkers and spectators alike. Country, rock, jazz, blues, swing and more will pulsate every mile on the course. Music will continue into the night as the Nashville Arena in downtown Nashville hosts a post-race concert. The race is the one of the largest races in the United States, with nearly 30,000 runners and walkers and 100,000 spectators expected on race day.
