Learn how to use all of the features of GX units before getting into your airplane. The Deluxe Simulator simulates all the elements required by the FAA for IFR non-precision approach operations and includes a fully functioning CDI display as well as a fully functioning Annunciator panel with the required message (MSG), parallel track (PTK), waypoint sequence hold (OBS/HLD), approach enabled (APR), and approach active (ACTV) lights and a waypoint sequence button (WAY/SEQ). The Deluxe GX Series Simulator also allows you to use the arrow keys of your computer keyboard to actually 'fly the simulator' by changing the direction and ground speed of the aircraft. This allows you to practice flying the complete approach procedures including procedure turns, all the way through the missed approach point and on to the missed approach hold waypoint.
The Deluxe version of the GX Series Simulator allows you to learn all the advanced features of your GX product interactively on your desktop or laptop computer (requires Windows 95 or NT operating systems and a 16-bit color display).
The GX Simulator Deluxe Edition is available on CD only and comes with everything you need:
- Deluxe Simulator program w/CDI, annunciator and heading/ground speed input
- Americas database
