Garmin Connect™ — Getting Started

Step 2. Download & Install

Even though Garmin Connect is a website, you need to download software that communicates between your device and computer. The steps below will help you download and install the Garmin ANT Agent software so you can send workout data from your watch to Garmin Connect.

1) Click the Download button at the bottom of this page.

2) Once the download has completed, run the Garmin ANT Agent installer. Certain browsers will run the installer automatically after downloading it.

3) Once the installer appears on your display, follow the on-screen instructions to install Garmin ANT Agent. You will be prompted to restart your computer when the installation is complete. Click Restart to restart your computer.

Garmin ANT Agent appears in your dock after you restart.

Note - PowerPC Macs are not supported because of problems when removing the ANT stick during operation. Support for PowerPC is in beta. Users can expect successful pairing and file transfers. The computer must be powered down before removing the ANT stick.

4) Click Next to continue to Step 3 to pair your device and send data to Garmin Connect.
