Developed by Garmin to work in seamless integration with your chartplotter or mapping GPS, LakeMaster provides detailed lake profiles and navigation data for a long list of Michigan lakes and waterways. Cartographic features include high definition contours, structures, and bottom information created from on-the-water surveys. Lake detail includes islands, reefs, points, bays, access points and more. Your Garmin GPS will accurately place your boat on the map as well as show detailed tracklines and waypoints.

Like to plan ahead? MapSource trip and waypoint management function lets you view LakeMaster maps on your home or office PC, and then transfer pre-selected waypoints, routes and tracks to your chartplotter or GPS. Detailed road map data is also provided to help you navigate easily from your home to the lake of your choice.

LakeMaster Michigan coverage includes detailed maps for 54 of the most popular lakes in Michigan plus general coverage for another 600 Michigan lakes. Lakemaster Michigan is available in three forms — CD ROM, pre-programmed Garmin data card, or pre-programmed micro SD card. See the product compatibility table (right) for a list of products that Garmin recommends with this software.

Unlocking your CD-ROM: Before you can download map detail to a memory card or directly to your compatible Garmin GPS, you must “unlock” the LakeMaster Michigan disk. Simply follow the instructions on the included certificate to unlock the entire disk. Next, download the data to a data card or to your compatible Garmin unit.
