Garmin is committed to providing you with regular semi-annual software updates to your BlueChart^® g2 data, including Notice to Mariners changes. As updates occur, we will make every effort to ensure that the areas of coverage for a given datacard remain the same.

Upgrade from BlueChart to BlueChart g2
We provide a 30% list price discount on new BlueChart g2 cards when you send us a BlueChart datacard.This 1-for-1 discount is available directly from Garmin only.

To verify compatibility with BlueChart g2 data, you must present proof of a new chartplotter purchase. Note: BlueChart g2 data is not compatible with all Garmin device models.

Warranty Information
We will accept returned BlueChart g2 datacards within 10 days of the purchase date if the card is defective. Examine your datacard for damage immediately upon receipt.

Buyer Protection Policy
If MapSource updates a preprogrammed BlueChart g2 datacard within 30 days of the original purchase date, you may receive 1 free update. The identification number and coverage area must remain the same. You must provide valid proof of purchase to be eligible.

Update/Trade-in Program
If you own a factory preprogrammed BlueChart g2 datacard that is outdated or would like to purchase a datacard for a different coverage area, simply send in your old factory preprogrammed datacard and receive a 50% list price discount on any factory preprogrammed BlueChart g2 datacard. This applies ONLY to preprogrammed BlueChart g2 data cards and includes sizes of small (S), regular (R) and large(L), but excludes x-large (X).

Sizes are interchangeable, meaning you can trade in a small BlueChart data card for a bathymetric card, and vice versa.

Only 1 update or trade-in per new BlueChart datacard is allowed, and you must provide valid proof of purchase to be eligible for this program.
