OFFICIAL RULES

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. MUST BE 18 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER TO ENTER. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW.

  1. SWEEPSTAKES DESCRIPTION: Garmin International, Inc. ("Garmin") will sponsor a random drawing to give away the prizes described in paragraph 6 below on or about January 16, 2008. To be eligible to win a Prize, participants must visit the website www.atmapsend.com to complete the online entry form and must meet the other eligibility requirements set forth herein. No purchase is necessary to enter or win a Prize and making a purchase will not increase a participant’s odds of winning a Prize.
  2. ELIGIBILITY: The Sweepstakes is open only to individuals who are legal residents of the fifty (50) United States or the District of Columbia and are eighteen (18) years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees and their immediate families of Garmin (and any of its affiliated companies) and prize providers Disney, NWA WorldVacations, Best Buy Stores, L.P ("Best Buy") and Circuit City are not eligible. The Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations and is void where prohibited by law.
  3. AGREEMENT TO OFFICIAL RULES: Entry constitutes entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these Official Rules and the decisions of Garmin, which are final and binding. Winning a Prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein in a timely manner.
  4. SWEEPSTAKES TERM: The Sweepstakes begins at 12:01 a.m. Central Time ("CT")on November 1, 2007 and ends at 11:59 p.m. CT on January 15, 2008. Entries received prior to or after the Sweepstakes Term will be disqualified. Garmin’s website is the official timekeeping device for the Sweepstakes Term.
  5. ENTRY: Visit www.atmapsend.com and complete the online entry form. You will be required to provide your first and last name, mailing address, email address, date of birth and daytime phone number. THERE IS A LIMIT OF ONE (1) ENTRY PER PERSON. Any attempt by any person to obtain more than one entry by using multiple/different e-mail addresses, identities, logins, or any other methods will void that participant’s entry and result in the disqualification of that participant.
  6. PRIZES: The prizes to be given away in the Sweepstakes are the following (collectively, the "Prizes", and individually, a or the "Prize"):

    7. ONE (1) GRAND PRIZE: One (1) grand prize winner will receive a trip to any Caribbean destination offered by NWA WorldVacations, subject to the following terms and restrictions. The total value of this Prize is approximately $4500. This Prize consists of (i) roundtrip coach airfare on Northwest Airlines for two (2) people to any Caribbean destination serviced by Northwest Airlines with a maximum value of $1500, (ii) hotel accommodations for (two) people for up to seven (7) nights at the selected Caribbean destination with a maximum value of $3000; and (iii) roundtrip transfers to and from the airport and hotel at the final Caribbean destination (all three pieces of the grand prize shall be collectively referred to as the "trip certificate"). If the cost of the airplane tickets chosen by the winner exceeds $1500, then the winner must pay the balance. If the cost of the hotel accommodations chosen by the winner exceeds $3000, then the winner must pay the balance. All other expenses not expressly included in (i), (ii) and (iii) above, including, but not limited to, meals, gratuities, and entertainment, are the sole responsibility of the winner. The trip certificate is not transferable and non-refundable, and has zero cash value. The trip certificate must be used before January 15, 2009 or it will expire. The trip certificate cannot be used for travel on the following dates in the year 2008: January 2-3; February 15 and 18; March 20-21; May 23; July 3 and 6; August 29; September 1, November 25-26 and 30; or December 23 and 27-30; or January 2-3 in the year 2009. Air service will be provided by NWA WorldVacations via Northwest Airlines (NWA) jet service. Travel is permitted only on NW/KL designated flights operated by NWA/Mesaba, Pinnacle, KLM, or KLM Cityhopper. Travel via any other NW Airlink or NW designated affiliated partner is not permitted. Winner will be responsible for travel to and from the closest airport to winner’s residence served by the flights. Travel must start from or include one of the following cities: Minneapolis, Detroit or Memphis. The trip certificate cannot be used in connection with any previously purchased trip, and it may not be combined with any other coupon, voucher, discount, bonus, infant fare, upgrade, WorldPerks Air Travel Award or promotional offers or tickets. Air travel must be roundtrip. Circle trips, standby, open segment or stopovers will not be permitted. The trip certificate is not valid with miscellaneous charge orders or prepaid tickets. Positive identification will be required at the time of check-in at the airports and the hotel. Only original vouchers will be accepted. Lost or stolen paper air tickets or hotel vouchers will not be replaced or refunded. The trip certificate will be void if it is altered in any way. Reservations must be made and air tickets issued prior to departure and are subject to availability. A per ticket surcharge will apply for paper tickets issued in markets where electronic ticketing is available. All travel documentation, including the air and hotel vouchers, must be issued by NWA WorldVacations, and any such documentation issued by any other person or entity will not be valid. All taxes, customs fees, airline or airport security fees, passenger facility charges, segment fees, or other similar charges or fees are the sole responsibility of the winner and will not be paid by Garmin or NWA WorldVacations. Changes to reservations will not be permitted. WorldPerks mileage credit will not be awarded for this travel. Garmin and NWA WorldVacations are not responsible for changes to flight schedules. Other terms and conditions and restrictions may apply. The winner of this Prize should contact NWA WorldVacations at 1-800-452-5672 to discuss this Prize in more detail.

    TWENTY (20) FIRST PRIZES: Twenty (20) first place winners will each receive one (1) Garmin nüvi® 200 model personal navigation device. Each of these units has an approximate retail value (ARV) of $375. Total ARV of all First Prizes: $7500.

    ONE HUNDRED (100) SECOND PRIZES: Fifty (50) second place winners will each receive one (1) Best Buy gift card valued at $25, and another fifty (50) second place winners will each receive one (1) Circuit City gift card valued at $25. Total ARV of all Second Prizes: $2500. Each Second Prize winner will receive the type of gift card selected at random by Garmin or its independent sweepstakes vendor. Winners will not be able to choose the type of gift card that he/she prefers, whether Best Buy or Circuit City. Best Buy Gift Cards are redeemable for future purchases in any U.S. Best Buy retail location or online at BestBuy.com® for merchandise or services only. Not redeemable for cash. Not a credit or debit card. Not valid as payment on Best Buy credit card. Purchases deducted from Best Buy Gift Card until balance reaches zero. No expiration date, no fees.     ONE HUNDRED (100) THIRD PRIZES: One Hundred (100) third place winners will each receive one (1) copy of the Disney movie "Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End" in DVD format. Each copy of the movie has an ARV of $20. Total ARV of all Third Prizes: $2000.

    FOR ALL PRIZES: Prizes are nontransferable and non-refundable and must be accepted as awarded. No cash or other substitution may be made, except by Garmin, who reserves the right to substitute a Prize with another prize of equal or greater value if the Prize is not available for any reason as determined by Garmin in its sole discretion. Winners are responsible for all taxes associated with receipt of a Prize. NWA WorldVacations, Best Buy, Circuit City, and Disney are not affiliated with Garmin International, Inc. and do not sponsor, endorse, approve or have any responsibility for this Sweepstakes.   7. DRAWING: Potential winners of the Prizes will be chosen in a random drawing from the pool of valid entries on or about January 16, 2008. The random drawing will be conducted by one or more employees of Garmin or its independent sweepstakes vendor. Garmin or its vendor will attempt to notify the potential winners by phone, e-mail, and/or written mail within seven (7) business days of the drawing. If a winner of a Prize cannot be located or does not respond within seven (7) business days of contact from Garmin, the Prize will automatically be forfeited and an alternate potential winner will be drawn from the pool of remaining valid entries.
  8. REQUIREMENTS OF THE POTENTIAL WINNERS: Except where prohibited by law, potential winners (and the potential winner’s travel companion in the case of the Grand Prize) will be required to complete and return an affidavit of eligibility and liability/publicity release (the "Affidavit/Release") within seven (7) days of being notified. If a potential winner (or the potential winner’s travel companion in the case of the Grand Prize) fails to sign and return the Affidavit/Release postmarked within the required time period, an alternate potential winner may be selected in his/her place in a random drawing of all remaining valid entries.
  9. GENERAL CONDITIONS: Garmin is not responsible for late, lost, incomplete, or misdirected entries or communications or for errors, omissions, interruptions, deletions, defects, or delays in operations or transmission of information, in each case whether arising by way of technical or other failures or malfunctions of computer hardware, software, communications devices, internet service providers, or transmission lines or data corruption, theft, destruction, unauthorized access to or alteration of entry materials, loss or otherwise. Further, Garmin is not responsible for electronic communications that are undeliverable as a result of any form of active or passive filtering of any kind, or insufficient space in entrant's e-mail account to receive e-mail messages. The use of automated software or computer programs to enter the Sweepstakes is prohibited and any individual who uses or attempts to use such methods to register will be disqualified. Garmin disclaims any liability for damage to any computer system resulting from participation in, or accessing or downloading information in connection with, this Sweepstakes. Garmin reserves the right to cancel, suspend, and/or modify the Sweepstakes if any fraud, virus, bug, technical failure, unauthorized human intervention or other causes beyond Garmin’s control corrupt the administration, security, or proper play of the Sweepstakes, as determined by Garmin in its sole discretion. In such event, Garmin reserves the right to award the Prizes in a random drawing from among the pool of valid entries submitted up to the time of the impairment. Garmin reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes or to be acting in violation of these Official Rules or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner. Any attempt by any person to undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes may be a violation of criminal and civil law, and, should such an attempt be made, Garmin reserves the right to seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law. Garmin’s failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision. In the event of a dispute as to any online entry, the authorized account holder of the e-mail address used to enter will be deemed to be the entrant. The "authorized account holder" is the natural person assigned an email address by an Internet service provider, online service provider or other organization responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted address.
  10. PUBLICITY: Except in Tennessee and where prohibited by law, participation in the Sweepstakes constitutes the winner’s consent to Garmin’s use of each winner’s name, likeness and state of residence for promotional purposes in any media without further payment or consideration.
  11. PRIVACY: All information submitted by entrants as part of this Sweepstakes will be treated in accordance with Garmin’s Privacy Policy, which is accessible from www.garmin.com.
  12. LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY: Garmin, NWA WorldVacations, Best Buy, Circuit City, and Disney and their respective affiliates, officers, directors, employees and agents are not responsible for: (a) any inaccurate information, whether caused by entrants or printing errors; (b) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the Sweepstakes; (c) technical failures of any kind, including, but not limited to electronic malfunctioning of any network, hardware or software; (d) technical or human error which may occur in the administration of the Sweepstakes or the processing of entries; or (e) any injury or damage to persons or property including, but not limited to, death, which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from entrant’s participation in the Sweepstakes or receipt or use of any Prize.
  13. DISPUTES: Except where prohibited, entrant agrees that: (a) any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of, or connected with, the Sweepstakes or any Prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the appropriate court located in the State of Kansas; (b) any and all claims, judgments, and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering a Sweepstakes, but in no event attorneys’ fees; and (c) entrant waives the right to claim any damages whatsoever, including, but not limited to, punitive, consequential, direct, or indirect damages. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, entrant’s rights and obligations, or the rights and obligations of Garmin in connection with the Sweepstakes, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of State of Kansas.
