Real-time Traffic

Garmin nüLink! traffic provides the best-in-class real-time information from NAVTEQ to help you navigate in and around congestion. Save time and frustration on your next journey. If you are receiving traffic information while on the road, the traffic icon appears in the upper-left hand corner of your map. Your nüvi will display the estimated delay time, which refreshes with changing conditions.

The color of the icon indicates the severity of traffic conditions on your route or road.

Green – Traffic is flowing freely.
Yellow – There is moderate traffic congestion.
Red – There is very slow or stop-and-go traffic.

If a severe traffic delay occurs on your route, n�Link!� 1695 and n�vi� 1690 with traffic services can automatically recalculate the route.

Flight Status

For example, you're on your way to pick up someone at the airport but you can't quite remember the arrival time. You simply enter the flight number and you can see when the flight is scheduled to arrive and the gate number. If they are delayed, you'll know and have a chance to use nüLink! to find a nice café on the way where you can spend some time instead of sitting at the airport.

Ciao!™

So how do you use Ciao!? Imagine you're out and about and you're hungry. You really don't want to eat alone. With one click in Ciao!, you can see the location of your friends who are near your location! Then you can use your phone to call, text or email them with the location of a restaurant and see if they would like to join you. With Ciao!, you can easily stay connected with your social network. And your friends can do the same with you. It's a lot of fun.

Ciao! is not available in all areas. Users control when and to whom their location is disclosed by managing the settings in Ciao! and in the third-party network providers' applications.

To set up a Ciao! account users must first register their nüvi with Garmin and read and accept the Ciao! Terms of Use and Garmin's Products and Applications Privacy Statement.

White Pages

You're taking your child to a birthday party, but you forgot the invitation with the address in it. No time to go home now, so you just go to White Pages and enter the name of the people having the party. There's the address! And get directions right to it. If you're running late, White Pages also gives you the phone number so you can call and let them know you're on your way.
