Garmin® Plans Two-Week, Coast-to-Coast Investor

CAYMAN ISLANDS, May 11/ PRNewswire/ Garmin Ltd. (Nasdaq:
GRMN) today announced plans to visit seven cities over a two-week
span to meet with existing and potential investors.
As part of Garmin's ongoing Investor Relations program,
Garmin executives will be visiting San Francisco, San Diego,
Los Angeles, Denver, Baltimore, Boston, and New York between
May 16 and May 24. The purpose of these meetings will be to
inform investors about Garmin's business, its historical
financial performance and its first quarter 2001 results,
and to discuss the companys upcoming lock-up expiration.
Garmin's IPO lock-up expires on June 5. Although the
company cannot predict how many shares will be sold and shareholders
intentions may change based on personal circumstances and
market conditions, Garmin currently expects that only a relatively
small number of shares subject to the IPO lock up will be
sold in the near term following the lock-up expiration. The
company arrived at this expectation based on informal conversations
between Garmin officers and certain original shareholders
